MaArte @ CAATA ConFest 2018: Revolutionary Acts

We are so grateful to have had this opportunity to attend the 6th biennial conference and festival hosted by CAATA (Consortium of Asian American Theaters and Artists).

We've made great friends and established a network that extends all across the country (and world!) from our corner in the Southwest. MaArte Theatre Collective is now officially part of the national theatre conversation!

Future Plans

Our Co-Artistic Directors (Christine Nathanson and Ciarlene Coleman) have recently met and mapped out the next twelve months of MaArte's future. Although we can't share everything on our agenda yet, we can list what you can expect to hear about in the upcoming weeks...

• FilAm Fest 2018 is at the School of Creative and Performing Arts in National City Saturday, October 27th. You can expect to see us there!

 

• In addition to what we're preparing for FilAm Fest, we're crafting more events featuring new works by Pilipinx American playwrights.

 

• We are going to be initiating community outreach (specifically non-theatrical, Pilipinx-affiliated organizations and charity in San Diego) some time this winter. 

We have some big plans throughout the end of 2018 and continuing through summer of next year, so we very much appreciate your support. You can keep up with us on a day-to-day basis by following us on social media!
